Bible Banter 007. The Choice | The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil #3

In this episode, Ryan and Steph consider why The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was even in the Garden of Eden in the first place. Was God setting Adam and Eve up for failure, or was He providing them a free-will choice to receive or reject His wisdom? Ryan and Steph also discuss the serpent's role in the story. It seems that all the serpent had to do was plant seeds of doubt in God's goodness and wisdom. Is it possible that all sin is rooted in this doubt? What would happen if we just took God at His word?
